About
A family studio that has spent twenty years photographing weddings across Kumaon — from grand town affairs to tiny hamlet ceremonies a day's walk from the nearest road. They shoot quietly, know the rituals by heart, and treat every couple's day as though it were their own.

We had heard the photographs would be good — we were not ready for what they actually gave us. Balaji and his team reached our village a full day early, walked the whole site, and asked us about every ritual: what it meant, who would be where, what we would most want to remember. On the day itself you forgot they were there at all, and yet there is not a single moment they missed — the pithya on my mother's hands, my father's face at the kanyadaan, the exact second the doli lifted. When the album came home, we cried all over again, just as we had on the day. Years on, it is still the first thing we show anyone who asks about our wedding. If you are marrying in these hills, there is simply no one else we would tell you to call.
