Kunja Village Homestay

What the terraces give

Agriculture

Madua and jhangora, wheat and barley, the slow turn of sowing and harvest on the hill terraces — the farming that has fed these slopes for generations, still done by hand.

All of Explore

These terraces were cut into the hillside by hand, generation upon generation, and they still feed the village — madua and jhangora, rajma, the season's vegetables, all grown the slow way.

Spend a morning in them at sowing or harvest and you feel the rhythm the whole village still moves to.
