Kunja Village Homestay

Grain, grass and cattle

Farms

The standing wheat and barley, the kitchen plots, the cattle and the grass cut for them — the working farmland of Kunja through the turning year.

All of Explore

Most homes here keep a little land and a few animals — cows and goats walked out to graze, fodder cut and carried home on the back, milk and ghee made in the kitchen.

It is small, mixed, unhurried farming: the kind that fed these hills long before anything arrived in a packet.
