Kunja Village Homestay

Where the wild begins

Forest & Jungle

Pine, deodar and oak climbing the slopes above the village — the jungle the children grow up roaming, source of firewood, fodder, fruit and the odd unforgettable fright.

All of Explore

The jungle begins where the fields end, and the village has always lived with it rather than against it — grazing cattle in it, gathering fodder, firewood and wild fruit, leaving the leopard and the langur their share.

Walk in a little way and the hill noise falls to birdcall and wind moving through the deodar.
